What can North do for my Azure bill?

Is Azure at full feature parity with AWS and GCP?
Azure is as close to one-to-one as possible across the North platform. The main exceptions are: Rightsize is not yet available for Azure, but is on our roadmap. Flexbot (North-managed commitments) is not currently available for Azure, but is also on our roadmap. All other features, including Analyze, Coststreams, Anomalies, and Noros, work the same way across all three clouds.
Is it safe to give North access to my Azure account?
Yes. North uses read-only permissions for cost analysis, visibility, and optimization recommendations—we never write to your account or access your data. Setup takes 5 minutes via service principal configuration and other methods. North is SOC 2 Type II certified, encrypts all data in transit and at rest, and never uses your Azure data to train AI models. You're always in control—revoke any permissions instantly.
If you use Coverage features like Autobot, North requests additional permissions to automate commitment purchasing decisions on your behalf. These permissions are optional and fully in your control—you can grant or revoke them anytime, and we clearly show you exactly what access is needed before you approve.
How quickly can I get started with North on Azure?
Setup takes 5 minutes. Connect your Azure subscription through service principal configuration. North automatically analyzes your account and within 24 hours you'll see allocation, anomalies, and recommendations fully populated in your dashboard. Will North force me into long-term contracts or commitments?
No. North offers flexible terms to match your needs. Startup and Premier plans work month-to-month with zero long-term lock-in, while Premier Plus offers a 1-year term with no penalties for changing course or canceling early. Either way, there are no multi-year contracts or hidden lock-in.
