Matt Biringer co-founded North.cloud in 2023, building it from his garage into an AI-driven FinOps platform. Before North, he spent 12 years in datacenter technology, leading growth at Pure Storage, CDI, and SHI. Outside of work, he angel invests in early-stage startups and can usually be found chasing his kids, training jiu-jitsu, or perfecting a new recipe.
Yassine Açoine
Co-founder & CTO
Yassine Açoine is co-founder and CTO of North.cloud, with a background spanning cloud architecture and data science. Before North, he designed global cloud solutions at Siemens and helped enterprises optimize AWS infrastructure at 47Lining. Now he's focused on making cloud cost savings effortless and automatic. Outside of work, he's usually traveling, reading about AI, playing pro-level tennis, or spending time with his family.
Sara Gharnit
VP of Marketing
Sara Gharnit is the VP of Marketing at North, responsible for demand generation, positioning, and the full story of why cloud finance teams choose North. Previously at Viam and Social Chain, she has 10 years of experience building marketing functions across B2B and B2C, from robotics to retail, agency to operator. Outside of work, Sara is usually traveling, sewing her next outfit, or finding excuses to try every new restaurant in New York.
Tom Mango
VP of Engineering
Tom Mango is VP of Engineering at North, responsible for platform architecture, cost optimization, and building systems that hold up under real-world conditions. Previously a Senior Director of Engineering at Recharge and an early engineering leader at TaxJar prior to its acquisition by Stripe, he brings 25 years of experience across high-growth SaaS and large-scale production platforms. Outside of work, Tom is usually building side projects, writing about software and leadership, or managing what sounds like a full house in Philadelphia.
Holden Sperling
Chief of Staff
Holden is the Chief of Staff at North, responsible for the people practices, operating systems, and foundations that support healthy growth. Over the past decade he has partnered with leadership teams at scaling companies, previously serving as Head of Organizational Effectiveness at TodayTix and Head of Operations at HER, where he led the company's integration into Match Group while keeping the full team. Outside of work, you can usually find him DJing or producing events around New York.
Gopal Trivedi
VP of Sales
Gopal Trivedi is a strategic sales leader with more than 16 years of experience building and scaling enterprise technology businesses. Starting his career as an engineer, he moved into sales engineering and sales leadership, holding roles at Glean, Veza, Lacework, Pure Storage, and more. Across his career, he has helped bring new products to market, build high-performing sales teams, and turn complex technology into clear business value. Outside of work, Gopal is usually spending time with family, traveling, or finding ways to help others create the same opportunities that have shaped his own career.
